Cake FLop

Have you ever started to bake something like this? The perfect swirl, triple chocolate,beautiful color accent. Well, with all this cool weather we have had I have been in the baking spirit. So while I watched a lecture for my final week in class I began to bake, and this is what happened:

 So the Cake started to bake ... I smelt something burning and opened the door to see that the cake had overflown in a huge mound on the oven floor!! I grabbed a spatula and dished it out in a hurry. By this point it was a mini, burnt, chocolate thing that looked like a cow pie!

                                                Then the chocolate fudge I was using overflowed in the microwave.....




 But I keep smiling... at least for now :) Because we are going to do this thing. It has been an entire year since I have eaten cake so I have to try it!

Then I found this little sneaks trying to steal the cake pieces that fell out of the cake pan, and successfully eating up all the frosting.




And.... after that entire crazy idea! I was able to sue enough frosting to make the cake look presentable lol!! What a GREAT baking day ;)
