Let's get started !

Thank you for coming over to check out my new page! I just wanted to start my blogging by saying that I am really looking forward to this and I hope that y'all will keep coming back!

I will start this out with a blessing I had this morning.

Upon awakening this morning, I found that I was having some major stress issues over work. I opened my Bible to read and went directly to 1 Peter 2:20 which ends with " but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God."
It was at that moment that I knew that God had directed me right to that verse. Have you ever had such an experience when you absolutely knew that God was speaking to you through his word?
Coincidence?

    Very excited for you Valencia! Looking forward to reading your blog. I know the Lord will use your testimony for good. You are truly a sweet, caring and down to earth gal and I know many girls can benefit from you. God Bless you in your endeavor!
    P.S. There's been many times in my life where God uses the Scriptures to give me exactly what I needed in the moment! If only I would turn to His Word more in those trying times!:)

    Retha, It should be interesting doing this blog. I just hope I can keep up with it after school starts up again :) I am glad the verse was encouraging to you too!
